Laponia by Gala, tiles with all the character of fired clay

Inspired by a fired clay slab, the Laponia range by Gala, is a very versatile tile, designed to provide warmth to every home.

In particular, Laponia is a porcelain tile of worn cotto cement with a really realistic finish, imitating hand crafted clay slabs. The collection includes shade variations that offer a very natural result with up to 36 different sides and 4 reliefs. Available in three formats (61.5 x 61.5 cm.; 44.5 x 44.5 cm. and 31 x 61 cm.), this tiles are suitable both as wall and floor tiles and they are ideal for areas where splashes are likely to occur (such as the bathroom or kitchen) and for outdoors, as there is an anti-slip version (in the 44.5 x 44.5 cm. format). The range is also completed with a mesh laid out in grid formation that combines different colours and a hexagonal mesh, to create a very trendy hive pattern.

The Laponia collection presents a neutral and versatile colour range, including cold (white and grey) and warm tones (beige and clay) to easily adapt to any atmosphere and style. In fact, the hand crafted look of this tile allows interesting combinations in decoration. For instance, its warm tones complement wood well, allowing the creating of rustic or classic interior designs; while in bathrooms, kitchens and even offices, where an industrial look is preferred, Laponia is the perfect ally to be combined with wrought iron, steel or other materials with an architectural style. Moreover, together with the mosaics of the collection, it is possible to combine the different colours and define areas both in open spaces (loft-type) and inside the room (for instance, in the bathroom to separate the shower).

Laponia is in the end a functional tile, very easy to adapt, with a timeless character and a very natural finish that makes it unique.
